Menyada Anderson, Apartments Hall Director
Hello! My name is Menyada Anderson, and I have been part of Xavier University's Residence Life team since July 2024. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with a minor in Women and Gender Studies, and a Master's in Counselor Education with a concentration in School Counseling, both from the University of Toledo. While in Toledo, I was also involved in Residence as a Resident Assistant and Graduate Assistant Hall Director. I am passionate about making higher education accessible to incoming students, as well as advocating for mental health and improving the overall college experience! I am a Cincinnati native and live about 25 minutes north on I-75. I enjoy listening to and playing music, baking, crafting, traveling with friends, and having a good time!

John Schaller Justice Hall Director
Hi, my name is John Schaller. I completed my Master's in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Saint Louis University where I held a Graduate Assistantship in the Office for Student Responsibility and
Community Standards. I am originally from Cincinnati and even though I loved my time in St. Louis, I am really excited to be back. When I am not working you can find me going to a game (baseball, hockey, football, soccer or other) in town, working out, or cooking.

Mykaela Freeman, Buenger Hall Director
Hi, I am a graduate from Wittenberg University. From Wittenberg, I obtained a BA in English and a Sociology minor. During my time in school, I acquired a true love for helping others and truly making a difference. My activities on campus included; National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), University Hearing Board, Residential Life (Residential Advisor), Alpha Xi Delta where I stood as the continuous open bidding director, and SAGE, a group of English majors on campus that plan events for the English department and help incoming freshman understand what the major entails. I am now pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Xavier University. I hope to incorporate my love for writing and helping others to create a platform to help young women of color in need after completing my masters.
My primary focus working as a Hall Director is to create a sense of community and belonging many long for while transitioning to a new part of life. If I can help students grow, prosper, and find their true place and calling that would make me feel complete.

Anderson Reeves, Assistant Director for Residential Curriculum
Hello! My name is Anderson Reeves, and I am thrilled to be at Xavier as the Assistant Director of Residential Curriculum. I am coming to Xavier after nearly seven years at Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY, where, in that time, I received my B.A. in Arts Administration with a Music Emphasis in 2020, and my M.Ed. in Higher Education Leadership and Social Justice in 2022. Also in that time, I worked for three years in Housing and Residence Life as a resident assistant, and, most recently, as the Assistant Director of Campus Ministry. I am excited to be returning to my first student affairs love through my new role at XU! In my spare time, I enjoy composing music, spending time outdoors, reading new fiction, and spending time in the company of friends, new and old.

Tim Griffin, Associate Director for Housing Operations
Tim Griffin is originally from Cincinnati and returned home in 2020 after spending ten years living and working in Chicago. He received his BA in History up the road at Ohio State University and a MEd in Higher Education from fellow Jesuit institution Loyola University Chicago. His first professional position was at a small, liberal arts school, Elmhurst College, as a Residence Life Coordinator. His professional journey became a bit of a ping pong match as he bounced back to working at Loyola University Chicago in residence life and then back to Elmhurst College where he worked with housing operations. Tim joined the Xavier Residence Life family in January 2020 and works with housing assignments, departmental budgets and other operational processes. In his free time, Tim likes spending time with his nephew and niece, musicals, movies, and getting reacquainted with his hometown.
